This pub flyer design was all about helping a local pub make the most of the summer season. I designed a double-sided flyer and a coordinating business card to help promote their latest offers.
The flyer’s main focus was their “Kids Eat Free” summer promotion - a big draw for families during the school holidays. But we didn’t stop there. The layout also highlighted all the lovely extras that make the pub a destination in its own right: afternoon teas, coffee and cake afternoons, and even welcoming pit stops for cycling groups. It was important that the flyer felt welcoming but also premium, so we used a colour palette of soft greys and gold tones to match their existing pub branding.
Alongside the flyer, I created a mini business card-style promo to pop in their guest rooms. These cards offered a 10% discount on food in the pub for overnight guests, a small but thoughtful touch that helped them boost footfall and make guests feel even more welcome.
This client came to me via a referral from Prestigious Heating, one of my earlier branding clients. I always love it when happy clients spread the word, it’s the biggest compliment and a great way to build long-lasting relationships.
This kind of project is a lovely example of how good design can do more than look nice — it can drive real results for small businesses and make customers feel looked after.
