Terms & Conditions

By commissioning any design work from me, you’re agreeing to the terms below. If you have any questions at all, just ask.

1. Project Scope

 

Each project includes:

  • A discovery call or email to get clear on your goals
  • 1 initial concept (unless agreed otherwise)
  • 2 rounds of revisions to refine the design (unless agreed otherwise)

 

If you need more revisions or extra deliverables, I’m happy to quote separately or work at my hourly rate.

2. Final Deliverables

 

You’ll receive high-quality final files in the formats you need (PDF, JPEG, PNG, etc).

 

Working files (e.g. InDesign, Illustrator, etc) are not included in the base project fee unless we’ve discussed it up front. These can be licensed separately if required – see section 9 below.

3. Ownership & Licensing

 

All designs remain the intellectual property of lvfg creative until full payment is received.

 

Once paid in full:

  • You receive a non-exclusive licence to use the final design(s) for the intended purpose (e.g. print, digital, social).

  • You may not resell, or re-use the designs in new projects without written permission or a new licence.

  • Ownership of raw working files and third-party assets (like stock images or fonts) is not automatically transferred.

4. Payment Terms

 

  • A 50% deposit is required to book your slot (or 100% via some online platforms).

  • The final balance is due within 30 days of receiving the final deliverables and invoice.

  • Late payments may incur a fee of £25 per overdue week.

5. Project Cancellations

 

  • If you cancel the project after work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • If the project is paused or delayed for 30+ days with no communication, I may consider it closed and invoice for any completed work.

6. Client Responsibilities

 

To keep things smooth and stress-free, I ask that you:

  • Provide clear and timely feedback

  • Supply any assets (logos, images, copy) before design begins

  • Stick to agreed deadlines where possible

7. File Storage

 

Final files are stored for up to 3 months after project completion. After that, I can’t guarantee retrieval so please keep a backup!

8. Portfolio Use

 

Unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing, I may showcase the final work in my portfolio, social media, or promotional materials.

9. Working File Licensing

 

If you’d like the original working files:

  • These are available at an additional fee (usually 50% of the original design cost)

  • Files will be cleaned and prepared for handover

  • Some third-party assets (e.g. licensed fonts or stock images) may need to be purchased separately or replaced with free alternatives

10. Disputes & Communication

 

If anything doesn’t feel right, I believe in sorting it with honesty and respect. I’ll always do my best to resolve any issues quickly and fairly.
